That or the ones on the inner walls have created the titans so that they can rule the people under fear. At this point it feels like the titan are going to be revealed as another race that were once persecuted and are trying to get even on humanity. Eren is useless as a protagonist, is this what they say when you could've removed Vaan from FF12 and nothing would change? The beast titan is something I don't remember from the manga There was no foreshadowing at all that it was in her character, and it's out of place I feel with what the anime/manga was trying for so far. I did not like I what they did with Annie's character when she admits that she was the femal titan when she got trapped inside the walls, it's a trope in anime where suddenly the villain shows their true colors with that crazy smile/laugh/color under the eyes. First season's great, I kinda had a hunch Annie was the female titan but I don't recall that arc in the manga, strangely enough. So here I am, with this thread, finally caught up to the point where I left off the manga. I thanked that person and moved on, but then a barrage of notifs came as time went on, saying not to listen to that person. I asked if it was worth watching beyond the first season and the first responder said no. I always thought that the pilot was amazing and since I kinda knew where it was going and I didn't like it, I dropped it off.įast forward to maybe a week or two ago, here on Era, someone made another Attack on Titan thread. Plus, initially the draw of the manga for me was humanity trying its best against the titans, when everyone suddenly started transforming to titans left and right, I didn't like it anymore because I felt it was becoming silly.Īs for the anime, I started the pilot episode and maybe an episode or two after that. I stopped at the chapter where it was revealed that two of the other soldiers were titans as well(manga chapter 41), I believe I caught up at that point and I didn't pick it back up again because I didn't think it was going anywhere. Initially, it started out great but I thought the pacing really sucked as it went on. These were my thoughts prior to the anime: Before anything, I just want to say please no spoilers for the anime/manga as I'm still watching the anime, thank you!Īges ago, after finishing reading Gantz, I wanted more, so I tried Attack on Titan.
